We are here to help you combine strategy, graphic design, and photography to bring your vision to life (in a way that makes people actually feel something and get excited to work with you!).

Hey, I’m Mallisa

I started Kindred Creative in early 2024 after years working in branding, design, and hospitality marketing, driven by a love for creativity, storytelling, and the kind of spaces and brands that make people feel something.

At my core, I’m a photographer and designer who’s endlessly curious about what makes a brand resonate. I have a knack for translating vision into visuals that are thoughtful, layered, and aligned with your purpose.

My background in hospitality taught me the importance of experience. Like how every detail matters, and how the best brands are built from the inside out.

a few of my favorite things

Hiking, any and all animals, collecting cool rocks, cold brew with oat milk, a good book on the porch on a quiet morning, strength training, baking sourdough, finding the best coffee shop in a new town, a brand new notebook, biking, audiobooks, crocheting, and a ridiculously juicy burger.

Meet Jenn

Kindred’s 5 Star Marketing Assistant

A woman with curly hair wearing sunglasses and a yellow pleated shirt stands against a colorful, abstract mural painted on a brick wall. She has her arms raised behind her head and is looking slightly upward.

Jenn Hudson grew up in Tupelo, MS, and studied fine art and photography at MS State University, but her creativity and ADHD refuse to be boxed in (good luck trying). Since then, she’s worn many hats—ophthalmology technician (yep, she’s photographed more eyeballs than she can count), newspaper designer, floral design assistant, server, marketing and content creator, photographer, storyteller. Through it all, she’s learned she thrives in spaces where she gets to create, connect, and capture stories that feel real.

Jenn has a deep love for hospitality—whether it’s making people feel seen through her photography, creating a beautiful space, or just being a kind human in a world that desperately needs more of them. She’s naturally drawn to the weirdos, the dreamers, the people who don’t quite fit into neat little boxes (probably because she doesn’t either). Those are her people.
